What is your shop rate?
Our shop base rate is $180 an hour. Apprentice rates may vary, please contact artist directly for exact rates.
Minimum rate is $120.
However, each artist reserves the right to charge outside the base rate as they see fit. Any questions on pricing can be brought up directly with your artist during your consultation.
How can i get a price estimate?
We cannot give price estimates over the phone or email. There are many different factors that go into pricing a tattoo. For example we need to consider size, detail, placement on the body, colour or black and grey. We also need to consider how much drawing will need to be done for the tattoo.
The best way to get a price quote is to book a free consultation with the tattooist you would like to work with. You can do this by calling the shop at 778-677-8592, or by requesting a consultation.
Can I get a tattoo if I am under 18 and I have my parent's permission?
No. You must be 18 years of age or older and have proper (government-issued) identification to get a tattoo.
We require 2 pieces of I.D. for anyone who looks younger than 25.
Do you take Walk-in appointments?
We are not currently taking walk in appointments due to the Covid 19 situation. Please have an appointment booked already before you come to the shop. Sometimes we have cancelations or last minute spaces available so call or text 778-677-8592 to check availability.
What are your hours?
We are currently by appointment only so hours may vary, please contact your artist directly for information on their individual schedules.
How do i make an appointment?
You may request a consultation and include the following:
Subject matter of tattoo
Sizing (does not have to be exact, you can use examples for scale)
Placement (where on the body you want it)
Reference photos (if you do not have a URL please attach uploaded images to the same email thread. Sending multiple emails on different threads will slow down the booking process)
Someone will get back to you ASAP. All requests must be confirmed by the artist before any booking can take place. Sometimes this can take a few days as there are many request for our artists to go through. Please be patient with us.
Email us back if you have not received a response in 72 hours. We then will follow up.
Do I need to pay a deposit in order to book?
Yes, a deposit is required in order to book an appointment. The amount will depend on the tattoo and how long it is projected to take. Deposits start at $100 minimum and can go up from there. The deposit holds your appointment time and comes off of the price of the final session of your tattoo. It also goes toward any research and drawing for your tattoo. If you absolutely need to reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of 72 hours notice in order for you to move your deposit to a new appointment date. Deposits are non-refundable. It is the tattoo artist who would receive the deposit amount if you fail to make your appointment, not the shop. Please call the shop at 778-677-8592 to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash only .
Do Consults cost anything?
Consults are free of charge, however you will be required to put down a minimum $100 cash deposit in order to book an appointment.
is there anything i need to do to prepare for my tattoo appointment?
Eat properly before you come in for an appointment, and bring yourself enough drinks and snacks to last for your session, low blood sugar and tattoos don’t mix well. Come well rested, showered and free of any lotions or perfumes. You can shave the area you will be getting tattooed the day of your appointment, or the day before if you’d like.
where can i park my car?
There is 1hr parking on most streets surrounding the area, the church parking lot adjacent to the shop has pay parking. There is also residential parking on Green St about 3 blocks north off of Quadra st.
is there anyone you wont tattoo?
Our shop is 18+ only, regardless of parental consent. We won’t tattoo pregnant/breast feeding women, anyone with a transmittable disease or undergoing chemotherapy. Please note, we will not tattoo anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
is there a cost for touch ups?
Touch ups are free within the first year.
can i see my design before my appointment?
No, we can explain why during the consultation appointment.
how do i care for my tattoo?
Your artist will explain to you in detail the aftercare instructions. Sometimes our tattooists will provide different aftercare advice depending on the particular tattoo.
